Sac State Nursing for Spring 2018

Is anyone here applying in October for Spring 2018 nursing program at Sac State? I know this is the last semester to apply for the older criteria and CSUS will be changing the selection criteria for Fall 2018. What's your gpa? Teas score? points? I haven't taken the teas yet and I'm super nervous.

Everyone on this thread could go to a program outside of California, we just don't want to have to. Sac State is our number one choice.

Congrats on getting into your program, panda! My previous GPA didn't qualify me either - I retook over half a dozen classes to get my GPA up to par to give myself a shot at acceptance. Fingers crossed :p

Was Spring 2018 application the first time 2nd bachelor students were able to apply? Could this possible answer the unusually high applicant pool?

Anyone know? Or have 2nd bachelors always been allowed to the nursing program and CSUS for that matter?

No, I believe 2nd bachelors were allowed to apply long before this semester.

17 more days to find out if I did my application right and truly have the points I think I have. I feel pretty good about it, but that acceptance letter will sure help me be able to start to plan, oh I don't know, the next two years on my life! lol

I woke up buoyed with same hopeful optimistism as dououeven that no news today meant a favorable admission decision until I gave the question more thought.

Today the program Is rejecting those whose self-reported data don't meet the cutoff. Those, however, whose self-reported data meet the cutoff have still yet to await that their self-reported are validated.

So unless I missed something, I think we're all still in the same boat wondering if we perhaps made some silly mistake in our application

I double triple quadruple checked I put all my information in correctly. I think the only thing we would get wrong is extra points. TEAS is straight forward and I think our classes are as well. Of course we could've still made mistakes but I'd wager we all entered it in correctly. My only concern is that I have classes from four different colleges and I may have taken a wrong one, but I double checked that too so.... we're all going to make it :)

I have a friend who unfortunately got one. He said it's the same as the update email plus the "you're below the cutoff score. "
