I am in the process of turning in my Fall 2017 application. I take my TEAS test at the end of February.
Anyone else on here looking to transfer to Sac State in 2017?
Hey StudentNurseMamaBear, would you mind sharing which supplies you went with? I am thinking I'll order the Classic III, but not sure about the blood pressure cuff and other supplies. I think they probably matter somewhat less than the stethoscope and are all cheaper than the stethoscope, but none the less, I am curious what other people are going with. Thanks for the Medisave suggestion also, is it true they do not charge taxes to their listed price? What about shipping?
I'll check their prices against Amazon! Thanks again:)
I wanted supplies that had some personality, so I may have spent a little more in some areas. I bought the Classic III, the Stylemate utility scissors, penlight, and found an "adult aneroid sphygmomanometer" that had a pattern that I liked off Medisave. I also purchased a case for the stethoscope and a bag for the blood pressure cuff. I did end up ordering the kelly forceps from CSNA because I couldn't find them on that particular site, and I didn't want to pay extra just for them to be shipped (I also thought the folding clipboard and the pro pack where great options!). When I compared what I wanted with different sites including tax, that site was less expensive. I have amazon prime, and I still found Medisave to have better prices at the time. Really I just shopped around, put all the items I wanted into the "cart," applied any coupons, and so on.
That's great.. I may have to check out your pro-pack and clipboard once school starts and see if they seem like things I would really use. I was a little torn on those items and decided against them for now only because i hate buying things I don't end up using and figured I could always order them later on. I definitely considered them though.
I ended up buying the Classic III on medisave. Everything else is in my amazon cart right now. Thanks for your response, I appreciate you sharing.

Hi Ronin916, congrats on making it into the BSN Nursing Program, you eaRNed it!
So, I already sent in my application for SPRING 2018 Sac State Nursing class. (its all online now, so I submitted it, now waiting for any email from Teri).
I am hoping to earn the same +3 points for "Economic Background low-income status." And since I already sent in my application, I am so worried if I will actually be awarded those +3 points based on my family's income (its really low in my opinion). However, I would really appreciate it if you could sort of predict if I could also get those points; if both our incomes are fairly similar, that means I will get those points as well. You could totally just send me a personal/private message if you're willing to share, and I will tell you my income status, and just let me know if yours is similar, and if it is, then it will lift the weight off my shoulders knowing I will be granted those precious 3 points!
Considering that you recently finished the stressful application process yourself, please help a future applicant out, thank you in advance!!!

In case you're waiting for an email receipt from her, I don't believe she is sending them this semester. Instead, I believe you are supposed to print the response after you submit your application. I think that's the receipt.
Sadly, I haven't. And I'm even more anxious since I don't know if I will be getting the +3 points. This is the first time in my life that each day seems so long! Cant wait for mid-November to come already.
If I hear any info about this, I will definitely come back on this forum and share it with you and anyone else with the same question.
Really? I didn't do that unfortunately:( However from what I remember, there was no confirmation number or a "receipt" of some sort when I clicked submit..Have you applied for Spring 2018 or are you already in the program?
I applied for Spring 2018 with 88 points.
And the receipt is the response that says "your application was submitted successfully" after you pressed the submit button.

I joined as well. I figure it's better to be involved and see what kind of connections and opportunities they may have. I ordered the bulk of my supplies from Medisave. They had awesome prices and I received my order within days.
