Sac State Fall 2017

U.S.A. California

Published

I am in the process of turning in my Fall 2017 application. I take my TEAS test at the end of February.

Anyone else on here looking to transfer to Sac State in 2017?

Congratulations! I am all through with my co-requisites but I am looking forward to meeting everyone at orientation!

Congrats Ronin916! I am not planning to take any classes this summer but if that changes I'll keep you posted. Congrats again!

Everyone has to take a writing intensive course in their second semester. In order to enroll in the writing intensive course you must have successfully completed the wpj with at least a score of 80.

So, do nursing students ever get set back a semester for failing to achieve a score of 80 on the WPJ? :wideyed:

I took my WPJ already. It wasn't very difficult. Getting an 80 should be a piece of cake if you did well in your English courses.

Hello everyone & congrats to those who were accepted! I am currently waitlisted at #19 and was wondering if anyone who was familiar with the program would know what my chances of getting in are? I also got accepted into Cal State EB's program but I would prefer going to Sac State but EB wants us to accept by May 31st & I don't see the waitlist moving on Sac State's website. When does it usually get updated or start moving? I appreciate all the help!

Just wanted to double check with you all that the castle branch link is still unavailable. I keep looking but haven't seen it and I wanted to make sure I wasn't just missing the link somewhere. Thank you all!

I keep checking as well. I haven't seen it yet either. I would think we'd get an email update once it's posted.

It's up now :) @LuckyMoon

Haha... Thank you!

Any of you joining the CSNA? It's not that I don't want to be supportive of our program, but the $40 membership doesn't really get us any better prices than does just ordering from amazon and some of the other medical supply companies online. What are you all thinking about this? Thanks!

At transfer orientation we learned about a lot of other benefits of CSNA like access to internships, externships, fun ways to meet required volunteer hours, and more, so I joined it. My quarter in school hasn't ended yet, so I'm just ordering it all from them for the sake of convenience

Hey thank you so much for the reply. I appreciate hearing your opinion and about the potential other benefits of joining. I think I'll go ahed and join myself, even if I don't order all of my supplies through the CSNA. Thanks again!
