SAC nursing program fall 2011

Published

Has anyone been accepted to SAC Nursing Program (Fall2011) already? If so, post so we can wait together. So nervous.. I already applied and I am waiting to see If I have been accepted...I did look up threads about SAC and I have read its pros and cons..Good luck to everyone.

Hi everyone, I called the nursing department today and was told we should expect a notification in our emails on tuesday... so lets keep our fingers crossed! Good luck to all.

Specializes in Mother Baby.

Well guys since tomorrow is supposedly D-Day I just wanted to wish everyone Good Luck! I hope to see some good news on here tomorrow!

Thank you Noelle0910! Wishin you the same as well...I also wanted to wish everyone well...we got this!!

Well guys hopefully today will be the day, and we wont have to wait any longer. P.S For some reason I got the feeling we are not going to hear anything for a while!

MikeMya06, your feeling is correct. Called today and the date has been pushed back yet again. Now we are looking at Friday.....

...so, Friday it is then...for certain:yawn:

Howdy all, I have been following this thread and just now signed up... although I'm trying to remain as patient as I can be.. I'm at the point of collecting all my hair that has fallen out and submitting it as Exhibit A... seriously?

...maybe we should all meet at the front door, 8 AM sharp this Friday and not leave till everyone has been given a "packet'.. ha, ok...seriously...we all need a solid answers, period. This is ridiculous...

One thing is for certain, they are sure being consistent about not being consistent. I feel the disorganization the department has been demonstrating so far is only proving what could possibly be a very chaotic and stressful experience in the program. The program itself is quite demanding and we all don't need the added stress and high BP!

..maybe our presence in numbers would make a difference? Anyone available to meet and maybe even pay a "friendly" visit to the Dean? (minus the pitch forks and torches, of course) ;)

open and available to any suggestions....

thanks!

..wow, hair loss...bummer. ...any IBS, or RLS symptoms?:p

I like your post...cause it assures me I'm not alone in the anxiety over this,

...and squeaky wheels may sometimes get grease, but in this situation probably best for us not to rock any boats..and just sit tight, kinda tough, but I think this is all actually pretty normal for the process...judging by looking back at some of the posts from semesters/years past.

..the bright side...the longer the wait, the sweeter the good news will be:yeah:...right:confused:

I wonder though, the "some" acceptance emails that were sent out weeks ago...were those maybe for the folks that are in the LVN to RN mobility program? ..anybody have any info about that? ..it would make sense..as they submit a different application.

..not that knowing helps us, ..other than giving us something to talk/type about as a diversion...lol.

Hi, Idiopathic! I applied to the LVN-RN transition course and still haven't heard either way if I'm in or not. I was told that all notifications go out at the same time regardless of the program you applied to, but as we can see, there's an exception to that(not sure what the excpeption is, exactly)...I'm hoping and praying that no news is good news seeing as how neither one of us in this long agonizing wait received "you didn't make the cut" letters. We've waited this long, what's 3 more days (as long as its 3 more days!!!) In the meantime, I'll continue to pray for us all and hope for the best....Take care!!!!

hopefully the wait is worth it and we get some good news. Keep praying!

Hey Guys!!! I'm also waiting and waiting...this really sucks! I know they're getting calls all day but its hard when were planning so much around getting in or not getting into school. I applied to the LVN to RN program and got the same answer as you guys, Friday! I just want to know already...ready to hopefully get the show on the road. I'm trying to stay positive and even been telling myself that Ill be ok. And not upset or sad if I don't get in,but the truth is, I WILL! :( does any one have an idea of the applicant to acceptance ratio for the mobility program? Thanks guys!

..yall want to hear something that might make our wait a bit more tolerable? ...I was just checking out some other threads on here, ...there is a thread by some folks waiting to get the "news" over at Austin CC.

..I didn't read all the posts, but much if it sounds VERY similiar to ours:lol2:lol

...but, their latest info is that they will get the email notifications in JUNE!:p
