75 ?'s today. how many pass? & priority ?'s=difficult?

Hi!

I took the NCLEX this morning, 75 questions, so of course I'm freaking out(like everyone after the NCLEX lol)

A couple of questions:

Does anyone how many people pass the NCLEX with 75 questions?(percentage wise)?

I didn't know the answer to ANY of the questions. There were a couple I felt o.k. about, but I thought the material was difficult.

Almost ALL my questions were prioritizing! Who would you see first, assess first, etc. Are these typically the easier or difficult questions? I didn't get any psych, mother baby, or peds. Maybe a couple questions max. No math, or calculations, and only a couple of pharm questions.

So I'm freaking out, please help! :o

Good luck on your results. Let us know what happens. The number of questions doesn't tell you whether you passed or failed, but just know that the great majority of testers do pass. Priority questions and select-all-that-apply questions are generally considered to be a higher level of difficulty, but a question's actual difficulty is only assigned through being pretested on many students.

Wishing you the best, as the above poster states the number of questions does not mean pass or fail, all the best.

I can make no promises, but I know of 6 friends of mine who all had 75 and passed. I also did. Most of mine were priorities and pharm. We all went to the same school and used similar study materials, so that might mean something too. Remember that if you get a question right, you get a more difficult question, so maybe it is a good thing that it seemed difficult. Good luck!!!

Hello there, I also passed at 75 q's and to be honest, after taking the exam, I became very obsessive, wanting to find out the odds of passing when one gets the minimum number of questions. So I read all the threads here which had been very helpful and comforting .... here's what I found out, although the number of questions you had is insignificant , it did seem that majority of test takers passed at 75, but there were also quite a few though who failed on this dreaded number (not that I'm discouraging you ...)

So the best thing to do is wait. If you had a lot of prioritization and check all that apply, that means you did very well.

Best of luck to you.

GOOD LUCK.HOPE YOULL MAKE IT.i made it on 75,so you can too.just stay POSITIVE.:welcome:

Thanks for the replies!

I'm still worried- I got a lot of prioritizing, but only one 'select all that apply'(pretty sure I missed it), and only 2 pharm questions

Honestly, I thought the NCLEX would be a little easier than it was. Even my first question wasn't easy, and I was told it would probably be easy. Maybe it was easy and I just don't know my stuff well :o

I took the nclex this past monday and I also passed with 75 questions. The are so many people that pass with 75 questions. So the odds are in your favor. I kind of had a feeling that I passed even though I wasn't too sure on some of my answers.

Let us know!

I took my test last Tuesday, Aug. 22 and I still don't see my name on the CA BON website :o I also answered 75 questions and I'm still waiting for my result. I probably failed :crying2:

I passed with 75 questions. A friend of mine failed with 75 questions. We really cannot tell the result just by knowing the number of questions. Goodluck...enjoy the thrill of waiting....

My test was the same way (took it yesterday morning as well). The more questions I answered the more difficult it seemed to get. I did have a ton of prioritizing, pharm (drugs I had never even heard of), no math, a lot of check all that apply, and a handful of OB. But the majority of them were prioritizing. I am freaking right along with ya!!! You are in my thoughts.

So if I get my results and I have failed, that means I did REALLY bad, since I only had 75 questions, right?
