Anyone apply to Rutgers University CRNA DNP program to begin 2020? Here are my stats in case anyone wants to compare:
3 years experience Shock Trauma ICU in level 1 trauma center
3.7GPA, 4.0Science GPA
CCRN, TCRN, PALS, ACLS
30+ CRNA shadowing hours
Good luck to everyone that gets an interview. I went last year and it was a tough interview.
I would suggest start really studying clinical / CCRN material now cuz their interview was heavy in clinical questions. Since I studied beforehand that really helped me out! Also make sure you have an official copy of your CCRN certificate to bring.
Especially know medications and what receptors they act upon and their mechanism of action. Especially fentanyl! *Hint hint, wink wink* Apparently no one ever gets that one they said and I basically got offered a position right then and there.
Good luck!

Did you accept the spot at Rutgers? If so how do you like the program?

This is straight from their website:
"After thorough review of all files by the admissions committee, select individuals will be invited to interview on November 7 or 8, 2019"
