I am currently applying to CRNA schools now. I already practice nursing in the US, so I don’t know about transferring your RN to US.
Heres what I do know: you need a BSN and between 1-2 years of ICU experience depending on the program. Different programs require different prerequisite classes and different certifications. You can find those requirements on the schools website. This is my first year applying and so far I have gotten interview invites for all the schools I’ve applied to, so I would say my stats are pretty competitive. Here are my stats:
3 years Shock Trauma ICU at a level 1 trauma center
CCRN TCRN PALS ACLS
30+ hours shadowing CRNAs
Charge nurse, preceptor, unit council member
Hope this helps!
