Rutgers ABSN Summer 2021

Hello everyone,

I wanted to create a post for students who applied to Rutgers summer2021 ABSN program. I am anxiously awaiting a response. I applied in September but had all my documents in around December. I saw in previous post that people submitted their basic life support certificate but I didn't see an option for that. 

 I graduated with a bachelors in cell and molecular biology recently, I volunteered as an EMT in the past and did research.

my stats are 3.5 GPA

A&P1: A

A&P2: A

Micro: A 

Statistics: A

Chem2: B+

Nutrition: A-

lifespan: A

I also took biochem and got a C

I would love to hear about you guys (past and future student). also does anyone know how FAFSA would work for this program since it starts in the Summer, or how do you guys plan to pay?

Congrats!! Are you re-enrollment? I'm a re-enrollment applicant but I still have no decision :(

I definitely feel like they are going one by one and not sending them all at one LOL

May I ask when your application was fully completed?

Hi Kim, if they’re honestly doing it one by one then we’re not gonna find out until April ?

I submitted Jan 18 my app and my BLS certification 2/5. I'm not sure if 1/18 was complete or once BLS on 2/5

Does anyone know what the ABSN tuition is for out of state??

Okay, I see. Thanks for sharing! 

I submitted my final document 2/11, and it was no longer pending since then. I didn't submit my BLS certification yet, so I think it might be from the 1/18 date

At this rate, probably! Especially since my final document was sent on 2/11. So they might be going in order of when things were submitted.

I just spoke to them on the online chat and they said decisions will be rendered by the end of next week hopefully. So we’ll see
