Rutgers ABSN Spring 2021

Hey! I figured I'd start a thread as I haven't found one for this upcoming semester. Has anyone applied for Rutgers ABSN Spring 2021 start?

I have applied and am currently just waiting on a response. I know I have spoken to someone at the school and they have mentioned that some people have already gotten their decisions.

No, I but I do have to get back to them by November 23rd. I think they give you 2 weeks after your acceptance to accept or deny the seat. 

Same, I accepted and activated my NetID, but haven’t gotten any other info.

I heard that when clinicals got cancelled due to covid earlier this year, Rutgers did not hold them online either which postponed program completion. 
Has anyone else heard about this or know if it’s true? I hope that’s not the case cause with way things are going with recent rise in cases, it’s going to take forever to graduate ?

Orientation will be on December 8th.

You're correct, orientation for the ABSN is on Dec 11th. Graduate program orientations are on the 8th.

As for e-mails, I never received a formal acceptance letter e-mail. I was accepted on Friday and on Wednesday received a "Welcome to RUSON" e-mail. So if you've been accepted, it may take a few (business) days for the welcome e-mail to reach you.

If you've set up your NetID, check your myRutgers portal for Required and Recommended Admissions widgets. These will provide some to-do checklists. I had to reach out to campus IT because these widgets were not loading properly, but they were able to fix them within a day.

Sorry, orientation is on the 11th. @ Orange27 . You are right. Did you order your background check etc .... from castlebranch?

Thank you so much for the info! I accepted and paid my deposit this past Friday, so hopefully I get an email within the next few days. 
 

also, I’m going to create a facebook group today and share the link once I’m done ?

Hey so I logged in to myRutgers portal and I don’t see anything that says “required and recommended admissions”. Where did you see this section?

Sorry about that. It's actually called "My Enrollment". They were the first two listed widgets after my profile info.

Yes, I ordered my background check and scheduled my drug screening.

Is this under my dashboard tab? If so, then I guess I'll have to call tomorrow and ask because I still don't see it.
