  1. OMG congrats! Have you decided where you're gonna go?
  2. The interview at Jefferson's was a group interview, they did ask some questions that would be given to you prior to starting the interview, so I suggest you check them out or do a quick Google search to get an idea of what they might ask you. Some of the questions require critical thinking so it's wise to prepare and draft your answers so that you're ready! A lot of people dressed very casually, T shirts and hoodies but I opted for a blouse for a professionally relaxed look. The interview conductors were so so friendly and nice and very uplifting, I believe they are all nurses as well. I was told to expect an answer in 1-3 weeks but heard back within 2 days. Have you gotten your interview date?
  3. Hi Nicolez, I decided to go with Rutgers in Newark! I chose it because I wouldn't have to wait until May to start with Jefferson and Rutgers's program is 14 months instead of 12 months at Jefferson's. I heard it's 14 months but there are some breaks then and there making it 15-16 months in total. I believe that extra time can relieve a lot of pressure and stress for me already being in an accelerated program. The two run about the same tuition wise, I'm from out of state so they were neck-to-neck. But honestly, if it wasn't for the time difference, I would've gone with Jefferson's. They just built a whole new building reserved for nursing students only! Either or, they're pretty well known and you can't go wrong with either.
  4. For those accepted, does anyone know what's the schedule going to be like? and if we are coming to campus or will everything be totally remote?
  5. Hi and thank you! The one I applied to is called Thomas Jefferson University in Philly, Pennsylvania, not Thomas Edison ?
  6. Does anyone know what's gonna happen with the rising cases and everything closing down again? Really hoping we can still go forward with it and graduate on time.
  7. NO wayyyyy ? I'll be so sad! where did you hear this??
  8. No, I but I do have to get back to them by November 23rd. I think they give you 2 weeks after your acceptance to accept or deny the seat.
  9. Hi all, Posting again because I'm still undecided on which program to choose. I got into several schools but narrowed down to Rutger in Newark and Thomas Jefferson in Philly. Tuition wise, they're very similar. I'm from California and wouldn't mind moving to either place. The only difference between the two programs is Rutger is 14 months and starts in January while Thomas Jefferson is 12 months and starts in May. Although I do want to get started ASAP, I'd wait a few months to attend a better school. If you have any thoughts, insights or advice, I'd really appreciate it! TIA ?
  10. I just got in. Now I need to make a decision... OCU, Goldfarb, Rutgers or Notre Dame Maryland? Waiting to hear back from Thomas Jefferson too. If anyone has any suggestions or advice on which program is better please feel free to leave a comment, I've done some research but still so torn... I've heard a fair amount of bad and good reviews from all schools.
