Rutgers ABSN Spring 2021

Hey! I figured I'd start a thread as I haven't found one for this upcoming semester. Has anyone applied for Rutgers ABSN Spring 2021 start?

I have applied and am currently just waiting on a response. I know I have spoken to someone at the school and they have mentioned that some people have already gotten their decisions.

Does anyone know if we are eligible for the Covid vaccine phase 1A as nursing students?  From that email from Rutgers, one of the categories was “unpaid workers such as health professional students, trainees, volunteers, and essential caregivers”.

Hey is anyone in the current ABSN program have the new MacBook Air with the chip. Apparently it's not compatible with some things, I contacted the tech department for specifics on what't not compatible, but just curious if anyone else is in the same boat.

Hey everyone!

I applied for Summer 2021 but since there isn't a form up for that and I'm unsure of how to work this I'm just going to ask you guys.

I'm terrified that I'm going to forget something on my application, it's my worse fear. I already submitted my transcripts and BLS certification (although they still haven't appeared on my status screen URGH). Is there anything else I need to do??

I'm also terrified that I might not get in. Here are my stats so you guys can let me know if I have a good chance:

Undergrad GPA: 3.5

Prereqs:

A&P 1: B

A&P 2: A-

Micro: B

Chem II: B

Nutrition: A-

Lifespan: A

Stats: A

Hi, sorry for the delay. Yes, eligible for the covid vaccine. I am unsure what they'll make you provide as proof as everywhere is a bit different. For me, I brought my school ID and a copy of my unofficial transcript and it was fine.

So, my foundations and health assessment labs were online. I don't know the exact rule, but I would think wearing your scrubs would be the way to go for these labs. Teachers like when you show up looking the part? That said, all lab professors are slightly different. Some are pickier about certain things like having your hair back etc. Def ask when you meet them! ?

Hey guys, I applied for Summer 2021 but I'll ask here since that form doesn't seem active. 

I submitted my BLS certification over a month ago and it still hasn't shown up on my status screen. I've asked the chat and emailed different places to ask about it and they said they do have it but why is it not on my screen??? I'm afraid they won't look at my application because of this. I really wanna call someone to talk about it but have no idea who to call. Everyone just keeps sending me different emails or they refer me to the chat. I'm scared since the deadline is only a couple of days away...

Don't stress about what shows up or doesn't on your status screen. If you've been in contact with admissions via chat and they have confirmed that everything is in place, then you're good to go. My BLS certification and 3 transcripts never showed up on my status screen. Good luck!
