Hey, decided to make a thread since I haven’t seen anyone make one yet. Thought it would be better than to just keep stretching out the 2019 thread. Drop a question below if you have any.

But other than that I’m done. I’m just waiting on someone to get back to me because it only shows I applied to New Brunswick and not Newark. Also, they seem to still not have received my transcripts which I know for sure is an error on their end. This is a recurring problem with Rutgers.
They actually told you it wasn’t what they wanted? I kept asking them for clarification and all they said was that I should go based on the rubric on the website.
Hello! I have completed my application for the spring 2020 absn. I applied to all 3 campuses- ha! Now the waiting game begins! Can anyone share their stats?
I have a 3.7 GPA in all pre-reqs
I have a 3.9 in my Master's overall. I don't have a ton of experience in the field but have volunteered at the Jersey City Medical Center Wound Care clinic for 2 years now.
I thought the essay max was sooooooooo short and that the application was generic so I didn't find much of a chance to show who you are. What do you all think? Thanks for sharing!
If they said they have it means they just haven’t scanned it and attached it to your application. When they do that they will update your status screen as received.
And yes the application is very generic. They seem to only be interested in the numbers. Probably because they receive many applications and just want people that look like they can make it through the rigors of the program.
yes that makes sense. My numbers by themselves are not great. 3.35 cumulative GPA but 3.8 with pre reqs. Also a combat medic in the US ARMY Reserve since 2016. Currently working in a top Ivy institution. I will need a holistic application format to be a good candidate. Hopefully, I will have more luck with SUNY schools. Where else did you apply if you don't mind me asking?
I think the experience as a combat medic should put you up there lol. Also the grades you get in the pre reqs are the real numbers they are looking at so your fine there too.
So far I only have applied to Rutgers because they had the earliest due date. Waiting on the decisions to see if I should apply anywhere else. But if I have to apply to other schools they will be in New Jersey so I can have instate tuition. Not worth going out of state for the same education.
