Hey, decided to make a thread since I haven’t seen anyone make one yet. Thought it would be better than to just keep stretching out the 2019 thread. Drop a question below if you have any.

I don’t think they start sending those out until end of October (after the deadline to get docs in).

Nah. Too early. Earliest you will hear back is towards the end of October. But most likely beginning of November. Hey, is anyone also having the same issue where Newark doesn’t seem to show up as a campus you applied to? Also how long did it take for them to say they received your transcripts? Thanks

Yea they don’t want anything extra because they do not want to look at all those things. Whatever they asked for is what they want. If you don’t mind me asking what did you go to graduate school for?

Originally, I was running into an issue where everything was showing up for the wrong semesters and none of my transcripts were showing up at all. I kept calling admissions until someone got back to me and we were able to fix the issues on the phone at that time. I would say that was about a week ago?

I only recalled them asking for college transcripts to be honest. Don’t think they asked for anything high school related, but wanted to be certain since the deadline is coming up.

I went to law school. Doing a bit of a career change after having become a volunteer EMT and discovering that I love patient care, science, medicine, etc.

So your a bar certified lawyer?! That’s wild. But yea you do not need any high school transcripts. Just college transcripts and pay the application fee and that’s it.

I am. I practiced in New York and New Jersey until this year when I closed my law firm to go to school full time to finish my pre-reqs.

You’re right about the transcripts. I spoke to admissions yesterday and was told the same thing. Also that they intend to send out decisions sometime October.

So did you finish all of your pre reqs, or do you have some to finish before classes start? I still have one non science course pending.

The psych course. Turns out the psych class I took in undergrad was not what they were looking for even though it was a developmental psych course. But other than that I’m done. I’m just waiting on someone to get back to me because it only shows I applied to New Brunswick and not Newark. Also, they seem to still not have received my transcripts which I know for sure is an error on their end. This is a recurring problem with Rutgers.

No, decisions will not be out until November 1st, they don't start looking at the applications until October. And all 3 campuses have separate requirements so I'm thinking admissions just didn't know about the other programs.

I applied to Rutgers Camden only because I do not have biochemistry, is general chem 2 organ chem or is that inorganic chem 2?
