I just attended the Rutgers ABSN information session this past Monday. It seems there were a couple of people applying for this upcoming fall (2016), including myself, and it was suggested that we connect! I'm applying to both campuses but hope to get into Newark at the very least since its a closer commute for me. I'm just starting the NursingCas application.
I work now as a nanny so I am hoping to pick up babysitting gigs here and there as I can, but am not going to commit to any set work schedule. From what I have read from other posts I think it really depends on the person and finding the right groove for you. It seems that people have been able to work, but I have read that you need to have flexibility since sometimes things change with the program last minute.
Did admissions mention whether or not it'll be just a letter and then a couple weeks later an acceptance packet, or do they just jump straight into it with the acceptance letter plus packet. Trying to figure out if a smaller sized letter means rejection
I spoke to admissions today too. He told me they will start mailing decisions tomorrow and early next week. He said only certain people will receive emails, most likely people who have been accepted into other schools. So whoever spoke to them about it expect an email! The rest of us like me have to wait for it in the mail. Hope it comes in a day! Lol. Good luck :)

Well at least you didn't have to wait for snail mail!!! I'm just refreshing my email like every minute to see if I will get one!!! Freaking out; I can't wait anymore!
