I just attended the Rutgers ABSN information session this past Monday. It seems there were a couple of people applying for this upcoming fall (2016), including myself, and it was suggested that we connect! I'm applying to both campuses but hope to get into Newark at the very least since its a closer commute for me. I'm just starting the NursingCas application.

I only applied to Rutgers-Newark, too. Undergrad in Finance from Rowan. I will be so thrilled if we find out before the holiday. Until then, I'm glad we can all commiserate with each other on here. :)

They mentioned in the information seminar they see typically 200+ applications but that could be 1 person applying to both campuses. Praying we'll hear before 4th of July [emoji120]ðŸ¿[emoji119]ðŸ¿
When I spoke to the admissions office they told me that we'd know by July 4th weekend! I applied to both campuses! My first degree was a BS in Public Health from Rutgers. I was told that there are about 300+ applicants for the fall. Does anyone know any admissions stats from last semester? So nervous!
@chelliecohen Thanks so much for the update!!! From posts of a 2015 fall applicant that I read, there was one person I saw who had a 3.3 GPA with As and Bs in their prereqs. Another person said that they seem to focus a lot on prereq GPAs but then again it depends a lot on the applicant pool as well! Bc some applicants with undergrad GPAs towards the 3.0 range also got in.
Anyone applying to Rutgers Newark planning on moving to Newark? I know most people will commute, but I wanted to throw it out there and see if anyone is looking for a roommate to ameliorate the high costs while at school. My lease in CNJ is up at the end of July and am personally planning to relocate to the Ironbound in EWR. 2Br apartments are much more affordable!

Hi, everyone. I'm also looking forward to hearing back soon, especially since I submitted my application in March. I applied to NB and Newark, but I'm hoping to go to the NB campus since it's closer to home. Hope we hear back before the July 4th weekend.
