I just attended the Rutgers ABSN information session this past Monday. It seems there were a couple of people applying for this upcoming fall (2016), including myself, and it was suggested that we connect! I'm applying to both campuses but hope to get into Newark at the very least since its a closer commute for me. I'm just starting the NursingCas application.
As the deadline for the Admissions Decisions is appraching, I've been extremely anxious as I still have not gotten an update on the status of my application. I called to confirm if the Camden campus would be finished with their decisions by the 15th deadline and she says they are still making decisions for the traditional nursing students and that they do not have a date at this time as to when they'll be finished. Is anyone else applying to the Camden campus?
I've only applied to NB and Newark. If you guys receive a decision back would you mind letting us know and giving us your stats? I don't know if the committee is more lenient on Camden students or they'll judge us the same. Furthermore, if any of us receive a denial maybe your decision can let us know if we'll be a good fit for the Camden program.
So I applied to RU Camden for their traditional nursing program as a transfer hoping to get accepted into the junior year. Has anyone had an update yet ? I have been checking like crazy these past few days to see if I was granted admissions or not. I am shocked its taking this long since I know someone who got into RU Camden nursing program last and they found out they were accepted on April 5th. I CANNOT TAKE THE PRESSURE

I sent in my last transcripts for this past semester and yeah... I'm freaking out cause I REALLY want Rutgers. I think it's pure TORTURE that they're making us wait this long to find out whether or we got into the program. Good luck to everyone.
Guys I am also applying to both the Newark and New Brunswick campuses for this fall !! I just finally sent in my application, I have been waiting on my college to send my transcript and it still has not arrived yet I am getting so nervous. I applied late because I was finishing up my prerequisites at my community college and also working full time. I am so scared that I'm not going to get in because my transcripts won't be processed in time. Should I call them ? I am seriously freaking out ! Everything else is completed and I heard they don't start reviewing applications until after the deadline. But if my transcripts still aren't process I don't know what to do !
I just went through the same thing. Fortunately, my final transcript was posted today (nothing like the last possible day to stress a person out!). Hopefully Rutgers doesn't require that the transcripts are "verified" by 6/1...
I have been calling/e-mailing NursingCAS since 5/13 (when my transcript was mailed), and I received the same answer over and over: "it can take 7-10 business days from the receipt of your transcript for NursingCAS to scan/post to your application." Unfortunately, they have no way of telling you whether the transcript was received (waiting to be processed) or not. It's the most stressful waiting game. When did you mail your transcript? Mine mailed on 5/13 and was just posted today... hard to believe it takes that long.
Ughhh I know it is sooo stressful ! I have been stalking the website and just feeling so sick. My community college finished late and my professor waited until the last possible day to post my grades, and I didn't send it early because then I would have to pay for an updated transcript but now I wish I did... I sent mine electronically on May 25 because I figured it would process more quickly. The University I received my bachelors from sent mine right away and it processed right away also ! I am so nervous. Thank god yours finally processed I can't imagine the weight that has been lifted !!! I am crossing my fingers that mine processes today. But I am determined and I'm happy to hear from someone who experienced something similar ! Do you think if it doesn't post if it would make a difference if I call Rutgers admissions ?
