DHS withheld July intelligence bulletin calling out Russian attack on Biden’s mental health

The Trump campaign has repeatedly engaged in a similar line of attack.

In early July the Department of Homeland Security withheld publication of an intelligence bulletin warning law enforcement agencies of a Russian scheme to promote “allegations about the poor mental health” of former Vice President Joe Biden, according to internal emails and a draft of the document obtained by ABC News.

The draft bulletin, titled “Russia Likely to Denigrate Health of US Candidates to Influence 2020 Election,” was submitted to the agency’s legislative and public affairs office for review on July 7. The analysis was not meant for public consumption, but it was set to be distributed to federal, state and local law enforcement partners two days later, on July 9, the emails show...

... Just one hour after its submission, however, a senior DHS official intervened...

I believe it’s vital that this information reaches as many Americans as possible.

The fact that information like this isn’t openly and loudly shared by those currently in power, casts doubt on whether you actually have free and democratic elections.

It should be easy for any thinking person to notice that something smells off when the internet is suddenly ablaze with tales of dementia-afflicted Presidential candidates in the months leading up to a general election. When it happens two elections in a row, you don’t even have be much of a thinker. Merely having a brain and a pulse ought to suffice ?

It’s so stupid that it beggars belief that it’s effective in persuading even a single voter. But it obviously works, or the GRU et al. wouldn’t be spending time and energy on it a second time. And we wouldn’t have posters on this forum bombarding it with multiple threads to help spread the disinformation.
