Hi everyone!
I have been doing a lot of research on Rush University's GEMS program and I wanted to ask, upon graduation, was it difficult to find a job as an RN (given that you technically only have 2 years experience from clinicals)? I feel like in the eyes of employers, you would be looked at as someone with an ASN rather than an MSN. I really hope you share your experiences or thoughts on the subject, it would be a tremendous help.

Definitely NOT difficult to find a job as a GEM graduate. You'll almost definitely get a job at Rush after school. If not at Rush, GEM and DePaul MENP grads have a really good reputation and typically don't have a hard time finding a job. I'd say 50% of my unit are GEM grads. Most of our new grads are GEM grads too.
