Rue Education is not a nursing program, so beware. They are a publishing company for programs such as Indiana State and Excelsior. You do not need a publishing company, because you can obtain the books and testing materials more cheaply directly from ISU or EC. Stay away from publishing companies, because they'll cast you into dangerous debt, and entail contracts that are virtually impossible to escape.
rue is a expensive publishing company that provides the learning materials (if thats what you want to call it) to people who are willing to pay between 300-400 hundred a book... they do not grant degrees ..you would still have to attend indiana state university.
i am interested in attaining my bsn. upto this point i was going to go through indiana state university. however recently i was contacted by rue education here in florida. is anyone familiar with them? is there an advantage to either progam. i am an lpn and i have a bachelors degree. i was already to start at isu until i heard from rue. it seems that i might be able to complete a bsn sooner going the lpn-asn-bsn route. please someone enlighten me if you can. thanks
Yes, that's correct. You can complete your distance education through ISU directly, without ever having to use Rue or The College Network. ISU has the learning materials, as does http://www.ebay.com and other outlets. So what I am hearing is that I don't have to do my pre-reqs with Rue Education or TCN I can go directly to ISU, correct?
