I'm sure many of you already know that RPNs in Ontario have been without a contract since October of 2011 & have been fighting ever since for a pay raise given the fact that we are expected to do a lot more & the skill gap between an RN and RPN has shrunk significantly.
My question is, has anyone heard any news regarding this contract finally being settled? What pay rate they seem to be agreeing on? Anything at all?
It's dragged on long enough IMO, but answers are very difficult to find.

Your onsite shop steward should be able to answer your questions. Your union website should also have information on where the negotiations are.

Nothing yet. I don't think that pay is one of the items on the table. Ask your union rep.
That's the only thing I knew of being on the table.
A pay rate to match all of our new responsibilities. Well, new to those who have been in the field for a while.
