Just wondering if anyone has received their acceptance offers for the RPN Jan '12 start. I am going crazy checking the mocomotion website multiple times a day! I spoke with admissions and she was hoping to have them up by last Friday

I haven't heard anything. I am totally feeling your pain! I wasn't expecting to hear anything until closer to October, because of the strike, but you have obviously spoken to admissions more recently than I have. Now I'm EXTRA anxious!! lol
I promise I will post here immediately if I do hear something, so other people will at least know that decisions are being made...
This is the worst!!! lol!
Good luck to you!

Ms B.C. l said she'll release the admission offers before October 1st.
I'm currently studying for my Assessment Test at George Brown.
Did you guys apply there as well?
I applied to Mohawk and Sheridan. I received an offer from Sheridan but ultimately want to go to Mohawk. I hope they are up soon.
I only applied to Mohawk...I can't relocate or commute far because of my little guys.
Good luck everyone! :)
The commute would be closer for me too! I have little ones also. The youngest will be 10 months when I go back..
It honestly kills me. If I don't get accepted, I don't know what to do. Do you guys think I should do Pre Health (to raise my average) or just do some distance learning education?
I did some upgrading through the ILC (Independant Learning Centre) I did my Chemistry and biology. They are really helpful and want you to succeed
I actually applied to Pre Health too as a backup. From what I hear, it is extremely helpful as far as preparing you for the HOAE, as well as the nursing program itself. I believe it also increases your chances of being selected to the RPN program.
Personally, I did ACE distance ed courses through the college (I think I gave you the details on that in another thread) to upgrade my high school marks. I've heard of lots of people doing ILC too. There's always options!
I'm preparing myself for the worst, so I won't be too disappointed if it doesn't work out for this semester. Still hate waiting though...! :)

Just letting you all know I feel your pain - I remember when I was waiting to hear...I think I stalked admissions :) Keep your chin up and don't give up...if you do get in you can feel very proud of yourselves!
Thanks, @takeabreath... It's nice to hear from others who have been there!
Should we be expecting news via Mohawk email? How did you hear that you'd been accepted?
Check your mocomotion! It looks like the offers are up :)
