Hi everyone, just want to ask if anybody has heard about any result from RPN bridging programs for Mcmaster or Conestoga?
If I didn't make the cut, will they give an email or mail about it?
Thanks

Mohawks' offer expires tonight and I'm so stressed out haha. The lure of McMaster is so strong, but man it's tough leaving jobs and friends you love. It might mean another year off! The "safe" option is GBC where I've got my life fairly established with jobs and people I love but man...organized/great education is hard to throw away.
It definitely may have felt like you lost that many, but drop-out and failure rates are closely monitored by the CNO. If a school has a rate that is high like that they are investigated and at risk for losing their accreditation. Centennial College, for example, was at risk for losing their accreditation (approved but with conditions) a few years ago and I believe it was around a 55% rate of people who didn’t finish the program and they had to develop a plan to lower this number and post a disclaimer on their nursing program webpage! Just a side note ?
Also, Mac is not organized haha.

I think they were under review and have since made positive changes to the program. It may not have been that drastic but comparing a first semester course (crammed, not enough seats) with a final semester one...there were very few left in the lecture halls.
I'm relieved to hear they're not any more organized than others, as I chose GBC! Lost a few years off my life stressing over that one. ?
