There is nothing wrong with Roswell; however, if you like the hustle and bustle of a big city, you probably won't like it. Compared to Las Angeles, it is very small and quiet, but if you don't mind that, it is very nice.
No one can tell you what to do. If you are hoping to change your surroundings, then New Mexico is a good bet, but if you are just looking for any old job, then you have to determine if you are ok with living there or not.
Good luck to you!
I like Roswell, the newer parts anyway. From what I understand, gang crimes are pretty common though. It still has a small town vibe. There is a Super Walmart, Applebee's, Chili's and other national chains. Within an hours drive there are tons of outdoor things to do. Albuquerque is a few hours away as is El Paso, TX so bigger cities are close. The schools are so-so with typical public school issues. Cost of living is reasonable.
The decision is up to you. Maybe you can go visit for a weekend to check it out before accepting a job?

I am from a small town in Asia with lots of trees and 15 minute drive to the beach. Sounds nice though.

I took my NCLEX and passed it just last week. Over the weekend I sent out a couple of applications and today I got a call from a hospital in Roswell. Questions?
1. Is it safe there?
2. Cost of living? I live in Los Angeles, so I guess it's a lot better there?
3. Take it or look for other options?
Thanks!!!! :) :)
