Roseman University Spring/Feb 2020

Nursing Students School Programs

Hi everyone!

The Spring 2020 application period has just opened up! I just wanted to start a new thread for those who are rolling over from the last application period (Fall/Oct 2019) as well as to those who are applying for the first time to share our questions and/or concerns.

Feel free to ask, comment or discuss anything about the admissions process, interviews, and the program itself.

Do let us know whether you're a rollover applicant or first time applicant, too. Good luck everyone!

I know it’s still early — but has anyone heard anything yet from the September interviews in SJ? Thanks! ?

Congratulations! I thought the SJ campus was really pretty. ?

Guys! I got in as well! So excited but I got into the campus in Henderson. I had originally placed Henderson as my preferred campus. But for SEVERAL reasons, I realized that the Utah campus would be a better fit for me. Anyone know whether/how I could request a campus transfer? I know seats in Utah are more limited.

The majority of applicants usually try to get into Henderson, I'm sure you'll be able to find somebody willing to trade pretty easily. I'm not sure how you would go about that though. Try emailing the enrollment department after you've found someone willing to trade spots.

I agree with the last poster. Most seem to want Henderson, so I don’t think that would be a problem. I wouldn’t wait to contact the enrollment dept to ask.

Does anyone know if they’re still sending out October interviews? Or would we have to wait until November now?

I'm pretty sure all october invites have been sent out already. You would most likely have to wait for November.

Hi everyone!

I am currently a Roseman student at the Henderson campus! I used to read these posts all the time regarding the interview process and what not! Lol

If you guys have any questions, i'll try my best to answer!

And also, if you guys are interested in getting all the books required, I have all of them in very well condition! They helped me a lot and trust me, you'll spend A LOT of your time reading. ??

But I wish you guys best of luck in this process & let me know if there's any questions!

Hi Cindy!

Thank you for offering your help to all of us who are looking to attend Roseman. I just got accepted last week but I’m kind of scared to accept my offer because I don’t know how the pass/fail grading system will affect my chances of getting into a graduate program !!!! I know roseman has an FNP program of their own but I live in California and I don’t necessarily want to live in Vegas all that time. What I am wondering is if you know anyone who has graduated from this program and gone into grad programs anywhere other than roseman’s? Or if you know anyone from CA who has graduated, I’d like to know if they had problems getting into schools back home or if they we’re okay (and maybe even what schools accepted them?). I emailed the enrollment specialist at roseman and she forwarded my email to someone named eric. He basically said that it’s our responsibility to contact schools and see if they will accept this credit but that’s pretty concerning since i will be paying 60k for my eduction at roseman. If i end up going there I’d like the transition to a grad program to be pretty seamless right? Also if anyone reading this has any answers to my questions please lmk!!! I’m losing my mind here bc roseman was my first choice school but if I can’t get into a grad program with those grades what’s the point of even going there?

ive even found a petition on change.org where students are trying to get this changed, and some say that if schools accept their credits they view their GPA as a 3.0 not a 4.0.....

Hey has anyone received an invite to the 3rd round of interviews for November?
