Hi everyone!
The Spring 2020 application period has just opened up! I just wanted to start a new thread for those who are rolling over from the last application period (Fall/Oct 2019) as well as to those who are applying for the first time to share our questions and/or concerns.
Feel free to ask, comment or discuss anything about the admissions process, interviews, and the program itself.
Do let us know whether you're a rollover applicant or first time applicant, too. Good luck everyone!

From my understanding, they alternate locations for interviews. Last month was done in Henderson.
Also, I was told that the earlier the interview you get into the more likelihood that you would get into your first choice campus. If you've noticed from the other threads, Henderson gets full faster than South Jordan.

Is it possible that Henderson is already full for Feb 2020 due to the alternates that were not accepted into the Fall cohort?
Hi everyone!
I am currently a Roseman student at the Henderson campus! I used to read these posts all the time regarding the interview process and what not! Lol
If you guys have any questions, i'll try my best to answer!
And also, if you guys are interested in getting all the books required, I have all of them in very well condition! They helped me a lot and trust me, you'll spend A LOT of your time reading. ??
But I wish you guys best of luck in this process & let me know if there's any questions!

Thanks, Cindy!
How was your interview process like? What questions did they asked you? What tips would you give us future interviewees?
Also, what was the process like after you've found out that you were admitted (housing, financial aid, etc.)?

Hey dllco94!
My interview process was very simple and the questions were straightforward (ex. what made you interested in nursing, why did you choose roseman, etc.). I actually did a webcam interview due to my location and it was with the Dean. There is also an essay portion that you must do. I suggest being yourself and not be too nervous (easier said than done. lol), answer the question to the point and try to avoid going off topic! ?
Afterwards, I moved to vegas and i'm currently living with my friends. There are several apartments around the area, but it's worth finding a better option a little further away from school. There will be payments due shortly after getting admitted and working with the financial aid staff is SUPER helpful. You'll also be getting emails about what tests (physical, shots) to get done, books, etc. Then on orientation day, the staff will go through everything with the students!
Hope this helps! ?

Thanks for all the info, Cindy! If you don't mind me asking how did you do your essay portion if you weren't even on the campus?
Which area in Vegas would you recommend for apartments?

For my essay portion, they allowed me to email it within a given time frame. ? And then for apartments, majority of my classmates live in the south, southwest, or west side of vegas ? , I personally don't know because I live in a house. Lol

Cindy,
You're so kind for offering your help! How has the program been? Is it manageable? How is it passing with a 90%? I look forward to hearing back from you.
