Roseman University ABSN Spring 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Hey, has anyone applied to or started the process with Roseman University for the Spring 2018 cohort? I know that the application opens next Friday, but I just wanted to see who all is planning on applying. Has anyone gotten an invitation for an interview yet? I will be applying to the Las Vegas campus. Also, what are your TEAS score, last 60-unit GPA, and prerequisite GPA?

Is there anyone here who currently attends Roseman and can tell me how it is?

Anyone know how may people are in the October interview for Utah?

@paisling thank you! lol you're so helpful

@cmari I have no idea, but I'll be there!

my advisor said they anticipate 28 people for the October Utah interview. There are only 48 seats available total but she doesnt know how many are filled yet.

Which school in indiana?

Was anyone an alternate candidate for October Cohort? If so, did anyone from that list get offered a spot in the February Cohort?

I am an alternate candidate from the October cohort and so admissions moved my enrollment date for this February. There were only two months of interviews because the cohort was full by the time I had my interview. I think there were 32 people at the interview and assuming that everyone got accepted probably rolled over their admission for this February as well because no one seemed too thrilled about going to Utah haha.

There are some people in our Facebook group who chose Utah for Feb instead of waitlist. Not sure if they were offered to roll over to July.

I'm an alternate candidate for October also and was told that my application would be rolled over to February, but I haven't received an offical offer of admissions for February. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to wait until all of the interviews are completed to hear back. I was just instructed to rollover my NursingCas application to 2018. Have you heard anything back from your adviser or admissions?

You should have gotten a letter that gave you the three options, choose which option you wanted, and then email the form to admissions. YOU were supposed to choose and give a written consent for whichever option you wanted. I think you only had a few weeks to decide after you received the interview to be an alternate candidate. When you mentioned about waiting until all the interviews, were you talking about the interviews for February? I accepted to roll over my application when admissions sent me the email back in July. I got my acceptance letter and the course schedule and everything by August.

How did you guys interviews go? When are you supposed to hear back?

@paisling I think my interview was okay! I was nervous so I talked super fast... Most of the interviews were ~10mins long so I feel like they definitely could've done it over Skype or a phone call lol. We're supposed to hear back on November 3rd, so fingers crossed!

I was anticipating a November 14 interview, but my advisor called me today and said that the February cohort is full now. She said a lot of the students from the Vegas interview rolls over to the Utah campus instead.

Has anyone heard of someone not getting accepted? Or is it a rolling enrollment and you would eventually get in?
