Hey guys! I will applying for the ABSN program for July 2018. I have to retake the TEAS by December and I know they will be starting interviews in either January or February 2018! Super soon. Has anyone else started applying? I want to go to the Las Vegas campus.

Hi! I'm applying for July 2018 also. I'm just getting ready to take my TEAS exam. Did you use the ATI study guide at all?
Yes the ATI study guide is helpful. The only thing I have to do better on is the science section!
JennaAnn23 did you retake your TEAS? I took mine last week and submitted the application on Thursday. I'm so anxious to hear about an interview.
No, not yet. I just finished my finals. How did you score? That's so exciting :)
I feel you. It was so hard studying for the TEAS while studying for finals I did pull off an overall 86% on the test. It was a lot harder than I thought. I haven't taken general chemistry for 7 years and that hurt me, but the English section was the worst!
Wow that's a high score ! Congrats :) What did you use to study?
I just took a HESI exam for another program and studied hard for that. So I think that helped. But I took the ATI practice exams and then used the ATI study manual to work on sections that I didn't do well on. I also used the pocket prep app.

Hi guys, I applied for this cohort and hope to go to the South Jordan campus if admitted! Hopefully we will all be notified for interviews. I took the TEAS last year and I used the ATI study book that I bought and searched for free supplemental information online. Science was my lowest of the scores, but I took the test without taking biology and chemistry first. Also, it had been a while since I completed my A&P classes. My overall was considered "advanced" so I did not plan on retaking it since the closest testing location was several hours from where I live.
a.n.h - what was your score if you don't mind me asking? Did you check through PSI also for testing sites? I didn't think there was a testing site where I lived, but you can register for an ATI exam through PSI and they offer tests at more places with more times.

Did anyone hear back from Roseman for an interview in January?
Nursingk8 - I don't mind you asking because it is what it is and at this point. The admissions committee will ultimately see everything. Plus, I also wonder what everyone else has on their application. I had an 80 overall on my TEAS with science being my lowest.Every other category scored in the mid-high ninety's. I cannot remember the actual score for science but it was pretty low. I am not sure if I looked at the PSI sites because I took the TEAS last year, but I am pretty thorough, so I would think that I looked at every possible option. My GPA is a 3.9 overall and 3.8 science . I am not sure if they take this into account, but I only have my A.S degree and not a Bachelors.
