Hey! Just wanted to start a thread, hoping to find other members in the traditional BSN cohort that starts in August 2016.
I'm Geri... can't wait to meet all of you and get started with everything!

Hey i am thinking applying to that school for accelerated BSN. its good school?
Hi Samera,
I was originally going to participate in the accelerated program and from what I've seen, it has come quite a way from where it was before. I've heard positive things about it now, however I am personally a classroom learner so I switched over to the traditional program.
Here is a thread that might interest you regarding Roseman's accelerated BSN program:

Are you attending the Utah or Nevada campus Geri?
Hi Kim,
i will be at the Henderson, NV location. I'm guessing you'll be at the Utah location, based on your location?
Hopefully someone spots this, made a facebook group for the Henderson Class of 2018 cohort:
come and join! :)
Look for BSN Class of 2018 - Roseman University, Henderson
Yes, I'm enrolled at the Utah campus.

When are you applying I was just accepted to begin in Feburary :)
Congratulations Jenny!
Any advice on how to prepare? Doing the accelerated program should I study pathology or review my Anatomy?
Sorry for the laaate response.
Getting familiar with pathophysiology would be helpful once you start getting into the diseases. Block 1 is just a history/knowledge class about nursing. Knowing disease process is sooo useful. I also recommend learning important lab values and if you're really eager, look up some commonly used medications and their indications and any stand-out side effects --- but you won't be doing pharmacology til block 4 (but those 2 weeks are intense; having some familiarity with some of the drugs will make it easier for you)
