ROSEMAN ABSN Summer 2021

Hi all! I couldn't find any threads for Roseman's July 2021 cohort so thought I would start one. I am from California and applying to the Henderson NV campus. I know applications don't open until December 1st, but thought I would get a jump on this since many of us are getting application stuff together. Feel free to share stats, advice, or anything else!

I noticed it jumps from page 22 to page 25 and there is no information at all on MRI, nuclear medicine, or X-rays (limiting exposure, X-ray scatter question, etc.) Has anyone else had this issue? I emailed them about it and they said we are not being graded on it, there are a bunch of questions that are simply not on there about MRI's and stuff. They told me Google it if I could. They just want to make sure you read it.

Has anyone found the answer for the location of the fire extinguisher at the nursing skill lab ?   I was not able to find the answer, so I submitted the document without answering the one question and it was denied.

Hey, I will be starting at Henderson this October and am trying to get a sense of what the in-person schedule will be like for block 2 so that I can coordinate with my part-time job. When do classes generally end? What is the load of additional homework during this block?

For days you’re on campus - we were almost always out by 3p the latest unless you felt the need to stay extra hours after

You don’t need to! I drive about an hour a day to and from school and it’s not that bad

Hi everyone, I will be starting the ABSN program in February 2022 and will need to be away from campus for a few days during blocks 2 and 4. I was wondering if any current students could give me an idea of what these blocks look like? For block 2/health assessment, will we have to be on campus a majority of the days? For block 4/pharmacology, how often do we have to be on campus? If anyone could share what their schedule looked like, that would be super helpful. Just trying to plan ahead. Thanks in advance!

I'm in Oct ABSN 2021 and we're currently in block 2. Unfortunately, you will need to be on campus from Monday to Friday. Our schedule was 8am - 11am, then open lab until 3pm. Open lab is optional, but you are required to be present from 8am-11am. As far as to block 4, we don't get our schedule a few weeks before the block starts.
