Rosalind Franklin University CRNA 2024

Updated:   Published

Hey everyone! I will be applying soon to Rosalind Franklin University's CRNA program starting May 2024.

I know applications in NursingCAS will open on August 10, 2023 and will close on December 15, 2023. I've heard that it is very competitive with rolling admissions so apply early! Interview invites have gone out in September in the past with virtual interviews taking place between October and February. Admission spots were offered last year as early as October.

If you have anything to share throughout this application process, please post here!

Good luck to everyone!!

Anyone who has taken the Kira assessment already remember any specific questions they were asked? And how much time you were allowed to answer? Thanks!

At the end of next week.

They are pretty straight forward emotional intelligence type questions. You will have more than enough time to get your thoughts together and answer the questions. You only get one try for each question though, so just give it your best and be confident! All the best to you!

Hi! Did anyone use the Professional Transcript Entry (PTE) service when applying? I feel like I may have made a mistake by using them since it takes up to 10 days to be verified!

You can cancel it, just email nursing cas. You won't be refunded though

Thanks, I may do that. Did it take you awhile to upload all the info on your courses? Seems weird that they want your transcripts and all the individual classes.

No it took me maybe 5 minutes, way faster!

Has anyone had their interview yet? How was it?

Ah gotcha. Good luck to everyone!

Where is the option to put in the reference contact details in nursing cas when submitting the application?

I have a CRNA, a professor and a senior nurse who does exclusively incharge as references. I see RFU says reference should come from a person who does the annual appraisal, but I feel like I hardly ever see my manager and probably this incharge who works with me more frequently has better understanding of my work practice and ethic.

Do you guys think I should ask my manager for this reference or the senior nurse reference is good enough?

I would add both of them. References will need to be included on your resume.

Thanks for the reply.

So, are you suggesting I make a heading at the end of resume "references" and write name, title and contact details of all my references? I will end up having 4 names.
