Hey everyone! I will be applying soon to Rosalind Franklin University's CRNA program starting May 2024.
I know applications in NursingCAS will open on August 10, 2023 and will close on December 15, 2023. I've heard that it is very competitive with rolling admissions so apply early! Interview invites have gone out in September in the past with virtual interviews taking place between October and February. Admission spots were offered last year as early as October.
If you have anything to share throughout this application process, please post here!
Good luck to everyone!!

another question for current students!
How do you recommend preparing for the zoom informational meeting?
Is there something that you think made you stand out within the group?
Any advice is much appreciated!
Thank you!
I think they're doing the informational meeting different this year, at least that is what faculty has said. If it is anything like the interview I had I would recommend answering first amongst the group. I think this helped me stand out because everyone ended up copying my answers. Albeit I'm not sure if that is because I answered first or because I had good answers
I think that is what I am most nervous about! it would be disappointing to end up saying the same as everyone else especially towards the end of the group.
I have been reviewing a lot EI and Clinical questions and I think that helped with the KIRA assessment. From your experience do you feel the interview was similar or more personable?
sorry to be asking a lot of questions - my last interview was an MMI style and it was humbling to say the least!
Thank you for your advice it is so appreciated.

The interview wasn't very personal, it was pretty generic EI questions. My zoom interview was MMI style. We had zoom breakout rooms with other students and faculty where they asked the group questions. I thought I bombed the interview actually. The MMI style caught me so off guard.
It is for sure challenging ! I will get to practicing some more.
Thank you for information and good luck on your upcoming clinical rotations!

This is me this year!! I'm kind of worried because I never got invited to the info session after my kira. I thought I did fairly well on my kira. I got an email 2 ish weeks after saying I'm placed on hold. I feel like if they liked me enough they would've invited me to the info session and then put me on hold.. so I'm not feeling confident. I never got invited to a group interview.. just on hold after the Kira. Not sure where to go from here but not going to give up!
Yall, be honest. Do yall think I should submit my application if I'm applying December 6th?
I took one more class and it ends the Dec. 4th.
I know it's so late but my resume is STACKED. So I think I may have a fighting chance. I even flew out to the open house 3 weeks ago and felt like I made a good impression, my name is unique so I'm hoping they remember me.
All my references and etc are completed just waiting on my last transcript
I'm feeling uneasy but I seriously felt a connection with them when I went so I'm hoping just HOPING I have a chance with me applying so close to the deadline

Hi,
If your GPA is good, I would apply before that class is finished and if you get an interview and they ask about it then explain that you are still completing it and when it will be completed. Applying that close to the deadline is risky, although they have let people in later I think it would be better to apply as early as possible. Hope this helps.

You have nothing to lose by applying other than the fee for application. I say give it a try!! Good luck.
