This is my first post! I've enjoyed this website and am learning more and more from all of you wonderful nurses and nursing students.

Name: Tiffany (24yrs old)

Single/No children, part time job from home.

Program: LPN (stepping stone to RN!)

School: Clover Park Technical College (Washington State)

Start date: September 23rd, 2013

Length of program: 12mths

General overall feeling so far?: SO Nervous! I alternate from extreme nervousness to incredible excitement depending on the day, lol. My program has a 12-18mth wait period before the actual start date so I know I've been in for a long time, the anticipation has not been good for my nerves!

Beyond nervous and excited. Was supposed to apply last year but it seems like this was the year I was meant to go because everything is falling into place as far as childcare, finances and my support system. For the longest time after graduating high school I never really knew what I wanted to do and I bounced around a couple of different universities with no clear direction. Now I'm pursuing a career in nursing and I haven't felt a sense of purpose like this in a long time. Congrats to everyone and good luck on your journey!
