RN STRONG Sutter

Is anyone is Sacramento area applying for the RN STRONG program or already has gone through the process? Just curious if there is any information anyone has about the program and how the interview processes go. Thanks!

There is NO where on Sutter's website that says ANYTHING about meeting with HR beforehand. If that is the case, not telling applicants online is ridiculous.

I guess they can't post that stuff, it's all pretty lame.

It is frustrating I understand. There will be another cohort starting in October so try and meet with HR beforehand and then you will be eligible to apply!

I'm not saying your wrong, but I'm pretty sure they can't put a stipulation like that on an application. There's something illegal sounding in there for being equal opportunity employers. You can *prefer* to have people from your area but it can't be a requirement.

I think they would say "prefer" if you asked about it but I feel like the whole meeting with them first is unfair and wrong.

I don't really cate what the requirements are as long as they put them on their site. Im just curious what group of people was given this info. Its like they already knew who they wanted to hire and let those people in on the real process. Its kinda strange...

@charis, what departments did you apply to? I haven't heard anything yet but I only applied to Neuro, so maybe they haven't sent that info out yet...

I applied to all of them hahaha! I think I got rejected from Oncology and CVICU
