Is anyone is Sacramento area applying for the RN STRONG program or already has gone through the process? Just curious if there is any information anyone has about the program and how the interview processes go. Thanks!

I've applied before but got the rejection email. Do you know if they are going to be putting up new grad positions again?

They should be posting the positions any time. Here's a link about it: Nursing Positions (STRONG program) | Greater Sacramento, CA | Sutter Health. SN1063 and christinejoy_d, have you met with HR? If you haven't met with them beforehand, you need to do that before they'll forward your application to any departments.

I'm a little confused, is this a paid program?
Yes, absolutely! It's a new grad program, similar to Versant, except it's a year long. You work on the floor, take classes and network with other new grads. That's supposed to transition you into a full-time regular nursing position after the year is over.
I met with HR today, sounds like positions will be posted soon...

I know they favor Sac grads, a couple of my classmates got hired during the last cohort. I though got rejected -__-

You need to meet with HR before the application period to be considered? Did you make an appointment?
yeah you have to call and make an appointment, they are booked for this time around but you can try to get a meeting before the next one that starts. I don't have the number anymore, but just call HR and they will get you in touch!

UGH, I've been waiting for this program to start, but I did not know that I had to meet with HR. How did you know this?
I called HR the other day too after seeing this post and I was told that as well

Thank you. I did not know that because I'm not from the area. I'm applying from San Diego. Thought I was rejected because I wasn't from the area since one of the questions asked if I attended these schools.
