Hi all, I am considering moving to Seattle in the fall, and have been lurking to see which hospital may be best. I was wondering if anyone could give me a general idea of what the pay might be for an RN with about 7 years of experience? Are any of the facilities advertising bonuses right now?
All info will be greatly appreciated!
I love tele nursing, I have been a clinical assistant on a tele floor for a year and a half and it would be my #1 choice. I am willing to do any available positions I just hope for a preceptorship. I just miss the NW and want to come home and would like to be employed prior to the move. I am willing to fly out in Oct to interview, VA Mason said to apply and they might be able to see me when I come in August. So washington does not need new grads at all? Out here they will give you tuition help, bonuses etc. I am up for any suggestions so I can come home.
There will always be a need for new grad nurses. A lot of websites don't post info about those positions. Your best bet is to contact the hospitals directly and set up interviews. Typically, they don't pay for relocation for new grads, but will for experienced RN's. Good luck.
Many hospitals are union and the information is readily available on their websites in their contracts. Visit http://www.wsna.org/Labor/ to get an idea of wages, differentials, etc.
