RN NCLEX

Can anyone tell me how to study for my NCLEX RN exam. I'm a new graduate and i really don't know where to start. I just sign up with Kaplan. I also have these materials saunders comprehensive 5th ed, Lacharita and the remar quick facts book. Please i need your help on how to study to pass this exam.

You need to make a list of the topics and figure out where you are weak in and focus on those areas. That is not to say you don't review your stronger areas. Have a test plan. Like what you want to achieve each day. I did questions everyday, all day. How are you doing so far when answering the questions?

I don't been to be rude, but how did you graduate from nursing school without knowing the answer to this question? I can't think of a single nursing school that doesn't address this extensively.

Kaplan will help you, because they teach test prep and will help you see how to understand what question is being asked and how to eliminate the wrong choices. Other than that, you need to know the nursing process, common diagnostic tests and their preps and normal and abnormal results, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, delegation and scope of RN practice, safety, patient teaching. prioritization, rationales for everything ... you know, all the things you had to know to graduate from nursing school.

Or am I missing something?

I thought I commented on this. But anywho. I think you need to develop a study plan. Make a list of all the topics and see where you are strong and where you are weak. Review your strengths but focus on your weak areas.

How are you in answering those review questions?
