I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.
I got 139! I believe it's too low to accepted in the program, the advisor was so serious and since this is the first time that they are using this type of exam they don't have a minimum overall score.
Varios factors I think applied too account in my exam, I was extremely nervous, I could barely spleen the night before, anxiety at its best... Too late now!!!
The exam: math is straight from the book, I answer all the easy ones and I marked those that I new that would take longer to be the last ones.
Verbal is complicated not all the words were in the book. The reading part was difficult for me, because I kept glancing at the questions
Science, like I said before lots of physics, there is more tables and graphs, there is an eye diagram point to the IRIS, there is also a question about AB blood type, it's difficult to remember details.
I hope my gpa saves me!!!
Good luck to all of you! Try to be calm!!!!
Guys this is a weird question but when you all applied did u have to send ur transcripts separate aside from the application? I've been at mdc for over a year now and they have all my transcripts, so there's no need to send them to the medical campus right? Sorry just freaking out!!! :))
I think you score is extremely good ..the minimum is 106 so did way good , I think you will be just fine
Thank you!!! Now comes the waiting time, from May to June for an answer!
The question about AB blood type is like It can donate to which type? (I believe). There is also, a graph about the food chain, same as the book. There something about Oogenesis. There is question about the heart diagram and the question is something about the pressure of blood that is pumped (not sure the exact terms)...

No, you don't need to send your transcripts. They only request once and its shared among all the campuses.
I believe that your score is not low at all. Especially with having a 3.7 Gpa. What did the advisor say once you went there to apply? We talked about anxiety being our biggest enemy.....and it is..its hard not to be anxious when we want something so bad. I will pray that God covers us and see us through this journey...Physics worries me alot but ill give it my best...and reading..sigh i hate it but im trying to work on time mgt. Thank you so much for details....
