RN generic full Time fall 2014- Miami dade college

I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.

I got a 130, I was very nervous but I'm hopeful because they don't yet have a min or max I believe our odds are good. I'm staying hopeful!!!!

Lisel the heart you just need to know the circulation of the ♥..meaning the pathway of blood.. page 184-185 in book. once u know that it should come easy...

Whats your gpa nurse ? And yes i believe because its alot of peoples first time with the nln pax..they really dont have anything to base it on..i think the odds will be in alot of our favor

I have a 3.5 gpa and got a 130 on the exam.. Hope that's good enough :/ I was so nervous, I think they should give us more time for the exam lol

I've seen previous posts where they send out waves of acceptance letters. So let's say the first wave occurs June 13, all that week they'll send emails. Then those who don't receive any emails will get it in the second wave, could be 1-2 weeks after.

Yes timing is definitely a factor in this. One hour and a half for each section would have been more reasonable...miami dade is just trying to make it more competitive....i feel that not alot of people have raken the exam or will miss the may deadline..which will also be in our favor :-)

Keilafd, did the advisor tell you the score of 139 was too low? When I talked to one she said 135 was good enough to get in.

Thanks .... I think that all that have done the test so far will get in the score and gpa are good and being the first time using this test is a + for us

Hi, She didn't say anything. I even asked what was my probabilities and she said that since its their first time with NLN PAX they don't have a range... Probably another advisor would have been more gentle and caring, but from MDC I cannot expect much!
