RN generic full Time fall 2014- Miami dade college

I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.

I feel like crying... :( I certainly don't have a 4.0...

I went to mdc medical campus on may 2 and they told me you still have a chance to apply. Thats when they told me may 15 is the new deadline

Did the advisor give you an explanation as to why they extended the deadline? I ask because when I applied the advisor told me that they didn't know how many spots were available but that the previous session had 125 spots and that this fall's session could have the same, less or more spots.

The advisor told me that they extended the deadline because not too many students pass the nln entry exam.

Isn't it 50 available seats for each option?

I believe is 50 for part time and 50 for accelerated and 150 for full time.

150 full time generic? How many seats for the transitional option?

I understand that we have to be positive but also realistic...Mdc is just making money out of the applications that's for sure. Keep in mind that gpa is only 40% and 60% is the test so there still a possibility and since they extended because a lot of people fail there still hope for those who pass

BTW you cant go by the applications because there people that apply for the 3 options. So if there 1000 applications maybe there are actually 500 maybe less so lest say that 50 get into the accelerated program 50 in the part time there like 300 application left so there still a possibility now is all in GOD hands

Thank you all for the info and let's keep our fingers crossed. I figured they let more ppl to apply cuz a lot of people didn't pass. I was hoping my gpa would help me to get in cuz my score isn't that good but if there's a lot of ppl with good gpas. :( w.e I hope we all get in but I must be honest and I don't think I'm getting in

Don't say that we have to believe in ourselves, my science gpa is not that great so we each have something going for us. Have faith, we will get in! I just wish we would stop getting bombarded by all of dades ridiculous new rules..but we can do this!

i feel the same since my NLN score is not that high but like NURSEJOY22 say we need to keep believe in our self. We will get that acceptance letter you'll see .
