Mdcs my only option too. Its the cheapest and I would have to wait longer for other schools. I'm missing sociology and nutrition for fiu and nova. Trying to knock those this summer. And Barry needs some weird religion class. I actually think FIU is harder to get into than Mdc. For mdc, u can always compensate a low GPA with a great test score. But u need like the whole package for fiu. GPA, test scores, and volunteer/or work experience in healthcare. Plus the way they set up their testing minimum, it kinda forces you to get a good score.

Hey guys. So yesterday I went on a rant and was upset at the world as if tho my life was over. I took a day to reflect on all this and I realized we are all bright students who KNEW the deadline date was may1st and we are clearly always on top of our stuff because WE WANT THIS. Then comes along gsamanez and brings us all down by telling us he met 12 other girls with high ass GPAs and with all the negative things the advisor told him or her then that we should have had diff options. Look with all due respect gsamanez You don't know any of our stories and your nobody to put us ALL down. I'm just so over it. It's hard to believe people people now a days and all though the deadline was extended the rest just doesn't add up. I'm sure anyone with a 4.0gpa would have made sure they took the exam before the deadline date. I'm not sure if the rest of you are with me but I just don't think we should feed in to this. We don't know any of this for sure and it's best to stay positive and even though we should stay realistic we also have to continue to believe in ourselves. KEEP YOUR HEADA UP GIRLS. We are like a second family here and I'm not about to let one person come in with all this "he said, She said information" to kill our hopes and dreams!

Is not about me telling you guys negative stuff. Im just being real. Im just saying what the advisor told me. Better yet you guys should thank me for letting you guys know that the deadline was moved to may 15. Because apparently you guys didnt had a clue. Now that I know of, this is a nursing thread post. Whats wrong with me saying I have a 4.0 science gpa. And yes I did talk to 12 girls with the same science gpa and they were about to take the nln test. Cmon girls, im just telling you what ive been thru and hear and see. Im not killing your hopes. Because if you really had hopes and faith, you would just believe in yourself and forget what others say. Now im not trying to argue because I have respect for you females. But I have to make it clear. :)

Okay guys time for some exposing please NO ONE LISTEN TO THIS KID. AFTER SOME FURTHER RESEARCH. He has been trying to apply at MDC since 2009 and he's still at it. He is also a felon and lies about his age and about how long ago he committed his crimes !

Yes your right this is a nursing thread which I joined because it seemed to me this was a group of lovely ladies who were here to keep each other Encouraged. You on the other hand are DISCOURAGING and quite frankly all I believe from you is the deadline extension. Which I thank you for sharing. Everything else is ********. It's SO hard to believe you met 12 GIRLS WITH 4.0 gpa as you sat there waiting to take an exam. And if you did good for you. Now move along with your negativity and lies

wow you should have just majored in detective. Lol......yes I do admit I had a felony record back then in 08 but its been expunged. Yes I did apply at mdc medical campus in 09 for the nursing program. But due to the fact of my criminal record. I wasn't able to. But later I was able to expunged it. You guys need to know this though. Back then in 2009 mdc teachers were so much slack than what it is now. And they were more easier professors than now which thankfully I made it to the gpa 4.0 science gpa. Plus I knew I had a criminal record so ive studied my ass off to get that science gpa. I figured when the dean of mdc nursing program sees it. She may say oh he deserves a second chance. he worked so hard to get that science gpa. Why discriminate cause he messed up in his past. And the reason why advisors tell me so much info like 200 students applying and 1000 students applied for this fall semester is because this advisors know me since 2009. Im always visiting them. They know me so well that they know my entire name. Thats why they give me so much info cause they trust me. I practically live there at that campus, praying they'll accept me. Until the dean of mdc waived my record and spoke to the florida bon and allowed me to do the program. Theres my story. You cant judge a book by its cover.

You didn't have to explain yourself. I am not judging a book by its cover. Ive never seen you to judge you by appearance. I am judging simply by facts AND by comments YOU have previously posted. Funny how on September 19 2009 you were 25 and then 9 days prior on another post you are 22 !! In my book you have ZERO credibility. So stop while your ahead.
