RN generic full Time fall 2014- Miami dade college

I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.

I'm also frustrated to read about a deadline extension. While I passed the NLN-PAX, I definitely would've benefited from the extra time to study for it.

I'm legit crying. I'm furious

Trust me I was legit crying earlier. IDK if MDC just don't know how important this is for some of us. I always wondered why in life it seems like people that do things wrong get rewarded the most. Then, the people that work hard gets the crappy end of the situation. #itslife I guess.

To be honest i don't what to think i can't believe this is happening... but if I found out that someone that fail get in and the other that did get more time to study i will go wherever i have to and make a claim . Did just got over the limits...

Maybe they extended the deadline because they didn't have enough qualified applicants. Keep in mind that everyone that took the exam after may 1st didn't pass. I'm applying to other schools as we speak but my first choice is mdc. I will not let MDC determine my future as a nurse.

Grace&hope, when you called did they tell u whether those that applied before May 1 take priority? Because even though they extended the deadline it must have been for a reason , so just like those who didn't pass get the opportunity to apply it should be the same now.

So I just called again. And she told me that no one gets priority, they base it on the nln score and your gpa. You have to go and see an advisor and they will calculate it altogether for you. But you have to keep in mind that not many people even knew that the deadline was extended. It's still probably the same applicant pool, just a bit more people. So don't lose hope. Keep the faith. Put your cares towards the Lord and I'm pretty sure everything will be alright. Amen.

Wait what other schools are still accepting applications? I've been looking for schools. Can't find any.

Ok guys im back.....yes they extended the deadline to march 15. Thats why I and 200 other more were eligible to apply for this fall 2014. And I just visited today medical campus. And the advisors told me another 100 students applied for this fall yesterday. I met 12 girls with 4.0 gpa and I thought I was the only one. Anyways they all took the exam yesterday which was the 15 cause that was the deadline.
