I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.
Okay not to scare anyone but the deadline for fall admission was extended until May 15 so there were alot more applicants that wee able to apply which I feel was very unfair. Everyone who passed with the initial requirements are 1st priority but understand that because the deadline was extended until May 15 if someone applied after May 1st they have a chance just like anyone else. I was able to speak with a advisor and this is how I was able to obtain this information.
I believe you have a great chance on getting into whatever program you applied to get into with your scores. I do feel it is very unfair for people who completed everything on time and passed to be put into the same category of others who missed the deadline. I feel like all of those individuals should be second to those who were able to get everything done on time. I'm sorry but I feel that's only fair. I believe God has the final say so I am leaving it in his hands at this point
I just called and they really did extend the deadline up until yesterday. She also said to check email's by June or July for results. So the countdown begins all over. That sucks.
Grace&hope, when you called did they tell u whether those that applied before May 1 take priority? Because even though they extended the deadline it must have been for a reason , so just like those who didn't pass get the opportunity to apply it should be the same now.

Guys let's not let everything make us nervous. We all have the same opportunity of being accepted. Lets all keep our hopes high because until the acceptance letters are sent out we won't know the truth because these advisors could be telling us anything. That is why I haven't called even once to ask any questions because I'm just waiting for June to see what happens. Believe in yourself. You have what it takes to become a nurse which is Knowledge and Persistence. No matter what happens never give up on your dream :)
