RN generic full Time fall 2014- Miami dade college

I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.

Has anyone tried calling today? Just out of curiosity although they always tell a new story.

Hey girls, do you know if we are required to buy the scrubs directly from MDC bookstore? or can we buy online from other places?

i think on one of the previous forums they said you could buy it online but it had to be the exact color, but yes I believe you can unless the rules have changed. As for the one for the clinicals which I think is different, that one you have to buy at the bookstore. Regardless if anyone else knows otherwise, let us know because I'm not 100 percent sure :) hope that helps :/

There is a store near the school where the uniform is shipper.. the one from the clinical you have to buy it at the book store.

my friend got a 3.9 gpa and got 102 on the test so they just sent her an email saying that she is able to apply because they doing exceptions for the test scores just for this fall..

Wow!!!! Good news i guess she cry when she saw that email. I guess if mdc is doing this is good news for all of us.

no they email her..she had gone to her counselor and he told her that she didnt pass the test so she will apply for no reason...but now with thos email I guess she has a chance.. I think they going to look more at the gpa this time around since they trying to fix the test

Yeahh maybe or many people fail the test and they are giving a chance to does whit a high GPA

I feel like it's more competitive now. If they are going to look at gpa's mostly. To tell you the truth, I didn't think much people were going to apply because it was a new test. I thought more people would want to see how the first group goes.
