I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.
I just spoke to an advisor regarding that. She said that priority will go to those that met all the requirements. After that they will start going down the list to those that did not meet all the requirements as far as the NLN goes. From there those that get an acceptance letter but did not meet all the requirements for the NLN will have to do a boot camp during summer b and see an intervention counselor. They want to ensure that everyone is capable of passing the rN-Nclex exam. Now keep in mind that if enough people have applied and did meet the requirements there may not be room for those that didn't meet the nln requirements... Hope this helps.
Thanks, I was beginning to feel sad. This message makes me feel so much better about my chances. Mainly because I did great on the test, but my science GPA is not the best. Therefore, if admissions were based off of GPA alone i will not make it far with my 3.13

don't worry cocochanel12 my GPA is not the greatest either, but that makes me feel better.
Check your unofficial transcript. Scroll down to As Pgm GPA. That should be your science GPA
This can't be true because in that case my science GPA would be 3.5 I think it's as Lisel said: the classes on the nursing program description that's deemed as "science classes" are what make up the science GPA. Google GPA calculator, type in your grades for those classes and it would calculate it for u and that would be your science GPA. The advisor did that for me when I went to apply and she told me that u wouldn't find it online you will have to do it manually.
