I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.
Exactly which why they are email people to apply. I don't think they will look more to the gpa unless for those who fail the test . This is me guessing lolBut that will make more sense and fair.
I just hope they prioritize those that did pass the exam...I'm sure that's what they are going to do, since that was the original plan
no they email her..she had gone to her counselor and he told her that she didnt pass the test so she will apply for no reason...but now with thos email I guess she has a chance.. I think they going to look more at the gpa this time around since they trying to fix the test
I don't think it's look more towards the gpa than the exam, but since a lot of people failed, they'll consider them too. makes sense as long as those who passed the exam get first dibs i hope
Honestly don't know what went wrong. Someone here said that the test was compromised. So I'm guessing people blatantly cheated or shared details about it (which should be expected). Either that, or the test was extremely tough so they're allowing people at the margin to apply. or mdcs trying to make more money.
I just spoke to an advisor regarding that. She said that priority will go to those that met all the requirements. After that they will start going down the list to those that did not meet all the requirements as far as the NLN goes. From there those that get an acceptance letter but did not meet all the requirements for the NLN will have to do a boot camp during summer b and see an intervention counselor. They want to ensure that everyone is capable of passing the rN-Nclex exam. Now keep in mind that if enough people have applied and did meet the requirements there may not be room for those that didn't meet the nln requirements... Hope this helps.
