RN generic full Time fall 2014- Miami dade college

Published

I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.

I posted the link above because it may or may not be a more accurate chart. It's different from the previous chart listed. It explains that this is the new chart that should be used for NLN exams taken after 2011. It's an updated version for the score conversions.

I called the medical campus and they told me the pax rn was comprimised and that's why they are allowing those individuals that did not get 50% to still apply. They also states they would have the same opportunity of gettinh accepted as anyone else

Wow. This is Crazy. ?? they say something diff everyday. They need to get it together and just send us out acceptance letters already !

Man# mdc need to get it together ugh

Still 78 in the new table... i dont get it they said that people that pass both are priority and now is another thing WOW i guess we have to wait for the letter and hope

I think they going to be doing alot of changing to that exam...

I don't think is fair... if you are not sure about an exam then why to put a score limit that's just make people anxious and make look that the hard work that we all have done is not important. I'm just saying I will be very sad that someone that did not pass get in and those who did don't.

Honestly I dont think they will accept the once who didnt pass over the pnce who did.But I do think that if a person has a 4.0 gpa and didnt meet the requirements for the test they will still consider them.

I know is not fair but I know also that the grading isn't fair cause how I got 117 and I did not pass, and someone else got the same and passed. So I thing they should look only at one, percentage or the numbers cause that is confusing.

I guess because some people do really good in some area and in another not but still get an overall that pass

I know but it should not be that way
