RN generic full Time fall 2014- Miami dade college

Published

I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.

i found these two on crocs website

one is 44.99 the other one 29.99

no crocs. Clinical shoes must have a closed back, no holes and no logo's. Preferrably all leather and all white!

You can only get the nursing shoes and $40 is the standard price......even on amazon

Yeah. Nursing schools are really strict about clinical shoes because we could become a liability. Usually no crocs or clogs. No openings or logos. Etc...

Have you received the bootcamp email? If so, the activities attachment has a list of assignments that we need to complete before he first day of bootcamp. We complete them online once you register on the edgt website.

Yeah I got it. I'll read it when I get back to work. I'll also print that handbook o

Sweet Jesus. Why did you get the Cardiology one? That's a top of the line stethoscope. Litman makes 1 that is excellent that is 1/3 of the price. Did MDC say you had to get that one?

They said we can use any with 2 sides

They sais we can use any with 2 sides

The cardiology II by Litman is excellent. BUT EXPENSIVE AS HELL! The Litman lightweight and classic are just as good for any 1 of us and almost $100 less. Its like giving a first time driver a Ferrari. Start with a Honda Civic and then work your way up. Unless you're a baller and want to go straight Pony. That's just my opinion.

Also remember how much you are going to spend on every thing else. If you drop $50 on a scope instead of $150, now you've got an extra hundred for those nice shiny scrubs we're being forced to buy at gunpoint.

LMAO. IDK if my stethoscope is two sided. I don't even know what that means. I'll take a pic and post it when I get home.

Amazon.com: 3M Littmann Lightweight II S.E. Stethoscope, Black Tube, 28 inch, 2450: Industrial & Scientific

This is the scope I ordered. I actually got it for just a little less through our medical supplier for my office. I work for a Rheumatologist. Double sided head. Look at the pic. Either side has a diaphragm that you can use to hear heart beats.
