RN generic full Time fall 2014- Miami dade college

I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.

Sweet Jesus. Why did you get the Cardiology one? That's a top of the line stethoscope. Litman makes 1 that is excellent that is 1/3 of the price. Did MDC say you had to get that one?

As long is double headed you can use any... i know is expensive but i guess i will use thing as rn .

yeahh i wanted to get the The Litman lightweight but my husband was like get the other one so don't have to buy that one later on

This is the scope I ordered. I actually got it for just a little less through our medical supplier for my office. I work for a Rheumatologist. Double sided head. Look at the pic. Either side has a diaphragm that you can use to hear heart beats.

You're right. Once I graduate and start making the big bucks I'll get the Littmann 3. For now I'll stick with the light weight

The lightweight is excellent. At $45 you can get 3 for the same price as 1 cardiology. I don't know. I just think these are learning tools right now and we are all broke ass students. But the Cardiology scope is top notch. You'll never really need another 1.

  • Pearson testing session at the Medical Campus in room 2101 Wednesday July 16, 2014:
    • 8:00 AM-11:00 AM for students with last names A-L ( MY LAST NAME IS L SO ILL BE THERE 8AM -11:00AM)

I'm paying out of pocket for the whole program so if I can save $100 that would be great.

The cardiology II by Litman is excellent. BUT EXPENSIVE AS HELL! The Litman lightweight and classic are just as good for any 1 of us and almost $100 less. Its like giving a first time driver a Ferrari. Start with a Honda Civic and then work your way up. Unless you're a baller and want to go straight Pony. That's just my opinion.

actually the master classic IIwas like 130 in another website so after thinking i think i did i good deal getting the cardiology III only by 150 but your absolutely right i guess all the school excitement make you loose control
