RN to BSN Schools

Published

Hi All,

I am looking for a RN to BSN school that doesn't cost an arm and leg. I have searched a few online but can't decide which ones to go with. Has anyone gone through Western Governors University. If all my credits transfer there I could get done in a year for only $6500.

Thanks!

I am currently at ASU. But recently heard about University of Texas, Arlington which also costs $6450 for the 35 units for the nursing portion, and just a little more if depending on the pre/co reqs. Not sure about WGU.

I would think it would cost more if you're out of state tho?

My program at Texas Tech was about the same and was complete in 2 semesters. The program was awesome and I highly recommend it. The only negative is that you have to go to Lubbock for orientation. Really, it wasn't a negative because I met the people who were in my class and was able to put a face with a name during online chats. I also met my now very good friend.

I do not recommend the program at Arlington. I checked into it and choose to go to Tech. I have not met one person who completed the program and would recommend it.

Texas Tech. I got my RN BSN there and it is an excellent school.

Looking for anyone that has completed WGU's RN to BSN program. Could really use a mentor not connected with the online college. Is it reputable? Thanks
