Is it possible to obtain a BSN in Nursing Informatics online with an RN degree?

A BSN degree is a generalist degree. There is no specialization.
Thanks for the feedback

Well, I searched for nursing informatics and a ton of programs came up. Not sure if you are saying you have a RN and want to get a degree in nursing informatics?? Try checking American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) at Nursing Informatics | AMIA, maybe they have some information that can help you.

FlyingScot is correct -there is no specialization at the BSN level. What you need to look for is an RN to MSN program with a nursing informatics specialty. One thing to consider is whether or not the program grants a BSN at some point or if you have to finish the entire program before a degree is granted (MSN).
Thanks for the information FlyingScot. Will go through with my BSN then before thinking about that

can i ask what you ended up doing?
I am completing my BSN online. I intend to enroll in an MSN nursing informatics school a semester after I complete my BSN.
thats great u r keep going with what u chose. do u have any regret over giving up engineer or do u enjoy healthcare field and engineer same degree? I think that's great decision if u can use both interest.
